How to Create a User Account in Windows 10
8/3/2015
If you want to create a new user account, but don't know how to do that in Windows 10, then this article is for you.
1. Open Settings > Accounts.
2. In the left menu click Family and other users.
3. Click Add someone else to this PC.
4. If at least one local user account already exists on your PC, Windows 10 suggests you to create an account with email, phone, etc, that should be tied to your Microsoft account (if you have it). To create a new local account without that stuff, click The person I want to add doesn’t have an email address...
... and then click Add a user without a Microsoft account.
5. Enter a user name into the User name field. And if you want to protect this account, then type a password and hint for it into the corresponding fields. You can skip this step and add a password later.
6. Click Next.
7. If everything is done right, then you can see the new account in the list of users.
